Xpan Interactive Ltd. (Xpan) and industry partner, Hatch, today announced their recent recognitions from the Muse and Horizon awards. Both Muse and Horizon are prestigious awards for creative interactive media design that receive thousands of entries internationally. Hatch and Xpan received awards of excellence in eLearning for the Hazard and Risk Management and Conducting an Effective Observation for Training courses.
The Horizon Interactive Awards is a prestigious international competition recognizing outstanding achievement among top interactive media producers. Now in its 20th year, the competition has a rich history of recognizing the “best of the best” websites, videos, mobile applications, and more.
An international panel of judges—consisting of diverse industry professionals—reviewed more than 700 global entries, including 26 out of 50 United States and 21 other countries including: Australia, Belgium Canada, Columbia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Japan, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, and the UK.
Hazard and Risk Management and Conducting an Effective Observation both won Horizon Gold Awards.
The MUSE Awards are a series of competitions, which are open for participation to the world at large. These awards are hosted by the International Awards Associate (IAA), which promotes excellence in various creative and design industries by providing professionals a platform to compete against their peers.
Xpan, in partnership with Hatch, was honoured to have won a Silver Muse Award for the Conducting an Effective Observation course.
These awards were judged by an international panel of judges from 18 different countries, consisting of professionals affiliated with leading companies from the creative and design industries. The judges evaluated the entries on the creativity of the concept, the alignment of content to the objectives, visual design, innovation, and overall impact and memorability.
“The continued success of our partnership with Hatch is a direct reflection of the learning culture we’re enabling,” says Ron Thiele, President and Founder of Xpan. “We’re grateful to once again be recognized for our work with the Hatch Health and Safety team, who truly understand and appreciate the importance of creating knowledge experiences to champion safety culture.”
Hatch is a global multidisciplinary engineering, project management and professional services firm, where safety is a core value. They are committed to delivering the highest level of safety performance to achieve their goal of No Harm within the communities and the environments in which they work. Xpan, in collaboration with the Hatch’s health and safety team, developed a highly interactive and engaging Hazard and Risk Management course and a course on Conducting an Effective Observation where learners identify safe and unsafe behaviors and conditions and assign appropriate actions at the office, on site, and at home.
