Graphic Illustrator


Xpan is looking for a talented graphic illustrator who can demonstrate creativity in creating original pieces of artwork for digital knowledge solutions and our marketing collateral. This role will collaborate with out our Instructional Designers and Multimedia Developers to ensure the vision of each project is achieved. Our instructional content must be supported through appealing illustrations, meeting our internal quality standards, and within project deadlines. This role may liaise with Xpan’s marketing department to further our outreach goals. Depending on capacity, the Illustrator may be trained and asked to assist on our multimedia development efforts.

Here's What You’ll Do

  • Prepare rough drafts according to requirements
  • Create and refine digital designs with illustration software
  • Use appropriate colours, graphics, and effects to visualize the content and concepts being designed
  • Participate in design briefs with Xpan team members, and clients if required
  • Ensure illustrations meet quality standards
  • Brainstorm with the team to come up with new ideas
  • Stay up-to-date on new design techniques and software

Here’s What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, or relevant qualification
  • Proven work experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or similar role
  • Demonstrable portfolio of complete illustrations
  • Solid knowledge of software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills
  • Ability to collaborate and meet deadline
